Emerging technologies and special sessions

Airborne wind energy is an emerging renewable energy technology based on tethered flying devices. Several systems in the range of 100 kilowatts power output are currently being tested and some already deployed commercially. This mini symposium aims to cover the current state of research and development. The respective mini symposium at WESC 2023 in Glasgow featured 32 different presentations.
