Wind farms and wakes

As wind energy continues to expand globally, understanding and predicting the complex fluid dynamics phenomena of wind turbine wakes is essential for improved performance of wind farms.

The session will explore the latest developments in both physical and numerical modelling of wind turbine wakes. Presentations from wind tunnel tests, high fidelity simulations, data driven approaches and engineering model advancements are welcome to the Mini Symposium. The objective is to provide a discussion forum on state-of-the-art wind turbine wake modelling among experts from academia and industry.
